About Bonney

 

Bonney Meyer, R.N. is an educator, author and life coach. She received a B.S.R.N. degree from the University of Wisconsin in 1979 and worked as a medical professional for two decades. Taking a mind-body approach to life and her medical practice she pursued extensive training in counseling modalities. This ultimately led to her career in coaching. 

Bonney has a broad background in goal-directed coaching. She has training in behavioral and transpersonal psychology, as well as in communication and personality psychology, including the Enneagram. She studied Neurolinguistic Programming (NLP) with co-founder John Grinder, Ph.D.. A trainer and practitioner for nearly twenty years, Bonney is a certified NLP Coach.

Since 1989 Bonney has taught relationship skills seminars to students and professionals through the University of California (San Diego, Berkeley and San Francisco) and Scripps Center for Integrative Medicine in La Jolla. For the last ten years she has conducted ongoing Life Skills classes for girls aged nine to eighteen. Having established a strong relationship with these girls, she continues to mentor them through college.

Bonney is co-author of The Joy of Relationship Cards, a deck of 64 cards and accompanying book filled with love and relationship wisdom and the book Becoming Soulmates.

Bonney has a private practice in Sonoma County, California offering sessions, classes and workshops for personal and professional development. She also works by phone with clients across the US, Canada, Europe and Hong Kong.
